Four kinds of work, one discipline. Everything below describes traditional Ayurvedic practice as she keeps it — what it is, and what a visitor should expect.

Assessment in the classical manner — prakriti (constitution), nadi pariksha (pulse), jihva pariksha (tongue) — followed by guidance on ahara (food), vihara (routine) and, where appropriate, classical formulations.

Consultations are unhurried. The first visit is mostly listening.

Mother & Child

Garbha Sanskara & Suvarnaprashna

गर्भसंस्कार

Garbha Sanskara is the classical programme of care during pregnancy — diet, routine, study and counsel for the expecting family, alongside their regular medical care, never in place of it.

Suvarnaprashna Sanskara is the traditional practice for children, administered on prescribed days. Families are told plainly what the tradition describes and what to expect.

The Dispensary

The medicines are prepared at the ashram, by hand, from plants grown in the Veda Vatika and Charak Vatika gardens or sourced with care. She knows each preparation from raw drug to finished form because she makes them.
